Why Morning Prayer Matters for Mothers
It’s such a blessing to start the day with Jesus! Knowing that He is in control brings peace, comfort, and strength for every moment ahead. As mothers, we carry many responsibilities, but when we place our hearts before God each morning, confess our sins and acknowledge our need for Jesus’ wisdom and guidance, we are renewed. He sets us free from our burdens and reminds us to fix our eyes on Him, allowing us to fulfil our calling as mothers.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this new day, and for your new mercy. I’m so glad you are in control and that I don’t have to do anything in my own strength. Jesus, I surrender this entire day to you and give you my heart, mind and soul. I love you Jesus.
I trust and believe in you and have faith in your plans for this day for my family. I believe that you died on the cross to save me from my sins, I believe that you rose from the dead, I believe that you are my God and the one and only true God. I believe in your Spirit to guide me today.
Help me to be the person you created me to be. Guide me and show me the plans you have for my life – as a child of God, a wife, a mother and a friend. Give me your strength to carry out all my responsibilities through the power of your spirit, without distractions.
I confess my sins to you now, Jesus, and receive your peace and joy so that you will be revealed through me. Use me as a vessel to bring light to those who cross my path today. Cut away my fleshly desire now, in Jesus’ name.
I pray that you would show me who needs your light and counsel today. Guide me to the right places and people. I want to be a blessing to others, to my family and to glorify you. Help me to point others to you today through my words and actions, and be present with them in your love.
